I baked these cookies this past weekend with my step kid. This child is a chocolate fiend and he would live on candy if we allowed it.
He originally wanted to bake a cake but we did not have much time. So I went in search of a quick chocolate chip cookie recipe.
These cookies baked beautifully and were delicious. The melted butter creamed very nicely with the sugars and was a great time saver. I used semi sweet chocolate chips and the kiddo donated a small bag of Easter colored M&M’s from his early Easter basket. He was very pleased with himself for coming up with the idea of adding the M&M’s to the batter (this is his very favorite candy). I think they really made the cookies, visually speaking.
